Position Summary

Location: Richardson
Position: Training Manager (working with director of revenue cycle) 
Education: Bachelor's degree required. 
Experience (Type & Length): 3-5 years' relevant work experience required. 
Software/Hardware: Meditech 6.1 without exception; MS Office. 
Other: Travel required up to 100% between Health Care Group sites. 

Training Manager reports to the Corporate Director. This position will oversee a team of trainers for 
implementation and provide ongoing support for Meditech 6.1 throughout the Health Care Group

Responsibilities for Training Manager

•	In conjunction with Revenue Cycle leadership, formulate and execute a training and 
capacity building strategy for Meditech 6.1 across the Health Care Group
•	Liaise with Revenue Management staff, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to 
determine training needs and design a curriculum 
•	Recruit, screen, manage, and mentor training associates or interns 
•	Coordinate and classify a standardized set of training materials and presentations for 
use throughout the Health Care Group
•	Manage a portfolio of training materials and work with Compliance department as needed 
to ensure that new regulations are incorporated into training materials 
•	Identify and leverage existing diverse resources from throughout the Health Care Group to 
transform into training materials and presentations to drive the creation of new training 
•	Apply best practices in pedagogy to improve training materials, ensuring materials are 
designed to maximize participant engagement and learning 
•	Manage the department's staff training program, including logistics, coordinating with 
trainers, finalizing attendees, developing the agenda, supervising communications about the 
events, and developing relationships with attendees 
•	Deliver training sessions and presentations 
•	When not training on 6.1 implementation, provide training/teaching and auditing new 
hires and existing hospital staff on registration/scheduling procedures 
•	Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications for Training Manager

•	Experience with Meditech 6.1 
•	Attention to detail, and advanced writing and presentation skills for communicating 
across a variety of stakeholders 
•	Proven project and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize 
among projects, successfully complete tasks assigned, and meet deadlines 
•	Training experience 
•	Proven system implementation experience 
•	Strong leadership and relationship-building skills 
•	Previous experience managing staff is a plus 
•	Willingness and flexibility to travel within the United States 
•	Revenue Operations experience, including Patient Access, Registration, Scheduling and 
Charge Capture
