Sue Burnett

President & Founder

Since founding Burnett Personnel Services in 1974, Sue has become a respected leader in the staffing industry, a well-known contributor to the community, and a sought-after speaker. Her philanthropic and industry accomplishments reflect her business acumen and her concern for others.

Sue currently serves on the board of Texas Diversity Council, Junior Achievement, Better Business Bureau, and Goodwill Industries. She is also very involved with her alma mater, University of Arkansas, where she and her husband Rusty, along with the university, broke ground in 2017 for the Sue Walk Burnett Journalism & Student Media Center.

Rick Burnett

Vice President

Rick Burnett is a strong motivating force behind the company’s solution-oriented, meet any challenge attitude. Having joined the company in 1982, Rick has had the opportunity to work closely with both the sales and operations sides of the business. His business philosophy reflects his integrity, “No matter what you do in life, be proud enough to sign your signature to all your work. Our business model is established on building lifetime strategic partners based on ethics, value, and responsiveness. One cannot ever take a relationship for granted.”

Currently, Rick serves on the American Staffing Association Regional Texas Council, the Texas Diversity Council & Child Advocates Board of Directors, and the Board of Advisors for Soulwell Ministries. These organizations contribute significantly to Rick’s philosophy, which is:

Debbie D’Ambrosio

Vice President, Risk Management

Debbie D’Ambrosio is Vice President of Risk Management. She started with Burnett in March 1980, working on the staffing side of the company. As the company grew, Debbie was able to grow with it moving into the Management side. She is responsible for the Contracts and Agreements between Burnett/Choice and our clients. She oversees the compliance of the contracts with the different divisions. Debbie is responsible for both business insurance and employee insurance, including staffing employees. Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, and EEOC fall under the Umbrella of Risk Management.

Debbie graduated from Texas A&M with a Ph.D. with an emphasis on Public Relations and Management. She earned her certification in risk management in 1994 and has been awarded Burnett’s “Support Person of the Year.”  Debbie served as the President of the Texas Association of Staffing and has received the “Top Contribution to the Industry Award” twice.
